Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal

Start your day off right with our Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal – the ultimate breakfast comfort food! Packed with hearty oats, sweet apple chunks, and warm cinnamon spice, it's like a cozy hug in your bento.
Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond or cashew milk , (any milk product can be used)
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tbs maple syrup
  • 2 tbs butter or coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce, (can sub with mashed banana)
  • 1.5 cups old-fashioned rolled oats, (gluten-free as needed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 Honeycrisp apple
  • Chopped nuts for topping

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients and mix well
  • Add to your whole bento or into your dividers and bake at 350 for 45 min
